Webinar: Nuts and Bolts of a Remediation Site, Innovative and Budget-Saving Site Remediation of a very messy manufacturing site

Speaker: Patricia Bryan

Since the early 1980s, concern over environmental contamination of soil, groundwater and air has propelled geologists into careers related to environmental investigation and remediation of contaminated sites. Geologists are needed to conduct site investigations of contaminated sites, develop remedial strategies and plans to clean up these properties, and communicate via public meetings and technical reports the findings and remedial solutions to the public, federal, state and local agencies, and property owners (Clients).
Ms. Bryan will discuss a recent project that harkens back to the early days of environmental assessment and remediation. The site is a manufacturing facility that had a severe environmental problem due to its mode of operation. What was done to address this contaminated site in order to bring the plant back to the future? Tune in to find out.
